Let's Polka

During the month of October Juniper Village celebrates the festivity of Oktoberfest with dishes of German bratwurst and sauerkraut and cabbage rolls.  Then after enjoying great authentic German dishes it's time to relax, enjoy a German beer and listen to Polka.  Juniper Village is also dedicated to inspire our residents to participate in any of our activities or parties for the month as we like to engage the mind, body, and spirit.  Some of our parties in the upcoming months include Thanksgiving lunches, Christmas celebrations, with a special visit from Santa, and a Noon Years Eve party to bring in the new year.

Best Friend's Week/National Assisted Living Week, during September 13-17, is a week dedicated to show appreciation to those caring for a loved one or a friend. Juniper Village at Aurora celebrates the week through carnivals, ice cream socials, pizza parties, and a chocolate fountain.



Verdell Frey, family member and friend of Juniper Village, takes a well aimed toss at the bullseye to sink our Executive Director, Jennifer Harris, in the dunk tank.  Verdell placed the ball with precision on the bulls eye as Jennifer took the plunge into the dunk tank! Verdell was the first in line to dunk Jennifer, but there were many employees and residents who couldn't wait to get their turn!

From ice cream socials to chocolate fountains, best friends enjoyed curing their sweet tooth.

Juniper Village at Aurora is anxiously awaiting our upcoming remodel.  All of these photos will be part of the new decor for our Gateway Club.  Our Gateway Club will feature a travel related theme.  All four of the houses will also be getting a face lift.  Details to follow...
