We are committed

At Juniper we are committed to nurturing the spirit of life in each individual we serve so that they may live fully throughout all seasons of life. To us this means understanding an individual, not only their needs but their desires and responding with programs and services which provide for the highest quality of life possible. Our Alive in All Seasons program of activities is designed to foster healthy bodies, enriched minds and fulfilled spirits. These pictures and stories are living proof that we at Juniper are dedicated to walking our talk!

Memories Filled Juniper Village

Love is a feeling that can bring people together in tough, happy, or sad times; as a way to help bring our families together in a joyous fashion, Juniper Village celebrated with an Eat Your Heart Out dinner and a Valentine's Day celebration.  For our Eat Your Heart Out dinner we had a buffet of spaghetti and meatballs with an official showing of the romantic movie Lady and the Tramp.  On Valentine's Day, residents, friends, associates, and families all gathered for Sweetheart Stories at Juniper Village.  The participants shared stories of love and how each was brought together.  Some of our fondest memories are created from connecting during these gatherings where the Juniper Village mission of Nurturing the Spirit of Life is truly evident.  It is during moments such as this, in groups large or small, that we celebrate love and life and reach out and embrace our Alive in All Seasons journey.

A Valentine For You

As we step into February, Juniper Village at Aurora is dedicated towards finding a cure for Alzheimer's Disease in one of our many fund raising activities, Valentine Balloon Bouquets. Also, during the month of February our focus is on art, and how it is one of many therapies that can help awaken your passion. Throughout the years, our residents have had the pleasure of using watercolors to paint from their fondest memories to create pictures of meadows, rainbows or flowers.  An assortment of quality crafts including watercolors, pottery painting, and flower arranging have all had an impact to help engage our residents in our Connections program.  We specialize our programming for our Wellspring Residents, where we thrive in letting the residents represent who they are through Art.  Our Balloon Bouquet project is just one additional way we, as associates, give back to our community and Nurture the Spirit of Life by contributing towards a cure of Alzheimer's!
