Juniper Village at Aurora celebrated Fat Tuesday with a Cajun style dinner of Jambalaya and jammed out listening to Gary Sattazahn play his digital trumpet. Along with the celebration of Fat Tuesday, the
residents made Mardi Gras masks and paraded around Town Square showing
off their talented art pieces. Sometimes in order to help us explore our creativity we must wear the "masks" that give us a different
perception on how to engage with our inner selves. Juniper Village also looks forward to more ways that our community can help our
residents explore their creativity through visits to art museums and having a performer come in to give us guided imagery. Come join Juniper Village at Aurora on March 17, 2010 for our next big event; St. Patrick's Day celebration as the Irish Step Dancers put on their best performance, it's one you can't miss!
We are committed
At Juniper we are committed to nurturing the spirit of life in each individual we serve so that they may live fully throughout all seasons of life. To us this means understanding an individual, not only their needs but their desires and responding with programs and services which provide for the highest quality of life possible. Our Alive in All Seasons program of activities is designed to foster healthy bodies, enriched minds and fulfilled spirits. These pictures and stories are living proof that we at Juniper are dedicated to walking our talk!
